Fred's 2nd Birthday

Fred's birthday fell on a saturday so we invited around Tom and Kerin Davies and their son Charlie who is 4 days younger than Fred. We had a simple BBQ and of course some present-opening and cake.

partied out by 11am. Fred had 10mins quiet time in the corner staring at the balloons nad his dummy, to get ready for the next round of present opening

sharing: a new concept for Fred

Rabbits being a favourite of Fred's, Ginny made this wonderful cake for him.

After their lunch, we sent the boys out the back for a play. Fred showed Charlie one of his favourite games of 'throwing the bark chips down the steps' much to both of their amusement.

Charlie joined in, though seemed to miss the point a little bit - instead of grabbing a big fistful of barkchips to scatter, he grabbed just one. Bless.

''You're my BEST (only) friend Charlie!!''

Cake time.
Fred is saying his favourite sentence here 'No-no-no-no Uh-uh-uh-uh'.
It's HIS cake, people. Hand's off!!

i'll have that.

Fred in December

I seem to be taking the photos much much faster than I'm posting them (nothing unusual there) but Im trying to stay on top of it this year, so here's some from December in bulk.

pretty girl - first thing Fred does is check out her shoes (you get that from your father). second thing he does is lift up her skirt (seriously) and have a look.

wow

apologies for the Batman-esque inner-outer wear (this is what happens when Dave does the dressing). This here is the result of me turning my back for a few minutes whilst I was carefully sorting through my clothes for charity. They end up down two flights of stairs under a giggling 2 year old.
